Description

The We Are New York Project helps adult immigrants practice English by creating conversation groups at community organizations. We link volunteers with community organizations that offer conversation groups. The We Are New York (WANY) Community Project has launched more than 500 groups that meet for ten weeks, using the Emmy Award winning TV show, We Are New York, as a guide.

All volunteers receive training and classroom materials.
