Victim Assistance and Sexual Assault Program

The Montgomery County Victim Assistance and Sexual Assault Program (VASAP) is an victim service provider agency providing comprehensive services to crime victims in Montgomery County. We offer individual and group counseling, victim assistance services in all District Courthouses and the Judicial Courthouse, court accompaniment, the assistance of filing peace and protective orders, psychiatric evaluations and medication, victims groups, processing of crime victim compensation as well as 24/7/365 days per year outreach to victims of sexual assaults. Our program serves all ages, victims of many types of crime such as rapes/sexual assaults, homicide surviving family members and loved ones, bullying, carjacking, physical assaults, arson, hate crimes and other types of violent crimes. All of our therapists are masters level with many years of clinical specialized trauma victim experience. All of our victim assistants are bachelors level with crime victim experience. All services are augmented by specially screened and trained volunteers. We have a sliding fee scale. No one is denied services for inability to pay.
