Duties and Responsibilities: Research and write web content for various hotline websites; draft messaging and assist Communications Coordinator with social media; search for relevant mental health articles and resources; assist the Communications department with other tasks, as needed.
Required Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills; knowledge and experience with major social media platforms including Hootsuite, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, and MySpace; knowledge of Adobe Suite and graphic design preferred, but not required.
Qualifications: Must be able to receive college credit as internship is unpaid; relevant coursework in journalism, media studies, communications or a related field; interest in mental health or helath communications strongly preferred.
