Description

Ashoka's Technology team is looking for a tech support intern! This unpaid internship position provides an excellent opportunity to be an integral part of a team transforming mission critical operations within an entrepreneurial organization. The Tech Support intern will work with Ashoka IT staff on such projects as case management system deployment, cloud services implementation, inventory management, system upgrades, and other IT management functions. Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Develop detailed client hardware and software inventory (including mobile clients).
  • Work with technical team to plan and/or implement required desktop system upgrades.
  • Assess case management and RMM systems, configure system, test, and deploy globally.
  • Develop workflows and delegation of authority documentation.
  • Develop policy and procedure documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience configuring Microsoft Windows, Outlook 2007, Apple Mac OSX, Entourage/Outlook 2011 in a Domain environment.
  • Experience developing network diagrams and detailed network/client inventories preferred.
  • Familiarity with Project Management concepts and Microsoft Project valued.
  • Experience working directly with users/clients to address hardware and software issues valued.
