The Small Business Coalition, a recently-formed political action committee, is hiring paid interns for the summer months (availability through September 10 is preferred). These positions are perfect for energetic self-starters who are looking to gain experience in NYC politics. You will be encouraged to think for yourself and find creative ways to accomplish your assigned tasks.
Responsibilities include:
• Research
• List building and data entry
• Door-to-door and telephone canvassing
• Travel around New York City will be required
Preference will be given to candidates who are:
• College students or recent college graduates
• Interested in New York government and politics (prior experience a plus but not required)
• Passionate about winning political campaigns and policy victories
• Hardworking with the ability to think for themselves
Compensation: $1,000/month with the opportunity for performance bonuses.
