Internship description

Internships at the US-China Education Trust are designed to provide real-life experience in the non-profit sector, with significant exposure to the issues and organizations active in US-China relations. Students at junior/senior level and graduate students are strongly encouraged to apply.Tasks will vary according to the workflow of the organization and upcoming programs, but we have identified the following as possible areas of focus for our interns, viewable here: http://www.uscet.org/internships.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 months of experience in the internship focus area of his or her choice, as well as an interest in public diplomacy, educational exchanges, nonprofit work and/or US-China relations. Chinese language ability is a plus, but not a requirement. Interns typically work 15-20 hours week. This is an unpaid internship. Students may apply for course credit at their home institutions.
