The Non-Violence Education Project is an early stage, start-up volunteer organization seeking management interns to help create a world changing organization. This is a 3 month to one year commitment of 5-10 hours per week, helping build a dynamic non-profit organization from the ground up.
The Non-Violence Project (NVP) is a long term K-12 educational program and curriculum that promotes non-violent problem solving, conflict resolution, and social skills.
We are currently building management workgroups to develop the infrastructure for this project and building national and international management networks of graduate and undergraduate students to develop, direct and manage the program. Please see our website for a detailed description of the project: http://global-change.org/project/non-violenceproject.php
We are seeking individuals with strong leadership qualities who would like to prove themselves as entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders and take ownership of these projects.
We are also seeking program managers and assistants. We are currently recruiting for the following openings:
-Program Managers- assist Project Leads with program development and implementation. These roles are excellent opportunities for emerging professionals to gain valuable operations and organizational management experience. (Graduate students/young professional preferred, strong undergraduates may apply.)
-Program Assistants- assist Program Managers with administrative and logistical tasks, volunteer recruitment and coordination, and program development. (Ideal for undergraduates looking to gain experience, or outstanding high school students.)
