  • Organize and document meetings, conference calls, and other interaction with team members and partners (including 10 research institutes located internationally); identify, coordinate, and follow up on next steps.
  • Assist with events coordination and setup.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following key competencies:

  • Undergraduate or graduate-level studies leading toward successful completion of a degree in communications, public policy, international development, political science, environmental studies, or a related field.
  • Ability to self-motivate, stay organized, and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with events coordination highly desirable.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills.

  • International experience and/or familiarity with the UN system and the post-2015 processes a plus.

Salary:

Salary is $12-$13 per hour commensurate with experience. Benefits are not provided with intern positions. This is a full time internship that is expected to last for two months, depending on exact start date, with possibility of extension.
