In 2013, we're setting out to raise $53,000 to sponsor one classroom in a preschool in Eastern Chad for thousands of Darfuri refugee children with no access to education. To help in this mission our team is looking for 2-3 part-time interns to facilitate the establishment of Triangles of Truth chapters in high schools and universities across the United States and internationally.
Responsibilities may include:
- Researching potential partners in the human rights and social entrepreneurship fields;
- Corresponding with museums and educational centers to incorporate ToT into the visitor experience;
- Drafting and disseminating a monthly newsletter with ToT news and updates;
- Emailing teachers, students and activists to introduce and recommend the project for adoption;
- Working with individual ToT project leaders to launch and guide campaigns.
This is a terrific opportunity for college students. Work schedule is flexible and incredibly rewarding.
Required: strong communication skills, passion and imagination.
