Business Manager
Job Description
Rainbird is a non-profit committed to the end of child abuse. Based in Madison,
WI., your average week includes filing state and federal business documents,
running financial affairs impeccably, managing essential operations, resolving
business issues, and dealing with volunteers and employees. You're responsible
for keeping the business running smoothly so the staff can focus on eradicating
child abuse. As the Business Manager, you represent Rainbird. We expect you to
have impeccable standards of responsibility, honesty, loyalty, and integrity.
Objective
Operate and manage The Rainbird Foundation, Inc. business affairs.
Qualifications
• Hard worker
• Must be incredibly organized and have a passion for precision.
• Able to work as part of a team, as well as on individual projects
• Highly self-motivated
• Computer savvy, proficient in all Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and other
business programs.
• Previous experience in budget management
• Savvy at financial negotiations and dealing with finances in general
• Impeccable integrity and loyalty
• Innovative, open to ideas, able to critically think out issues and solutions
• Must be committed to the end of child abuse
Responsibilities
• Maintain impeccable and complete business affairs
• Process all financial transactions with attention to detail and integrity
• Organize business transactions as needed
• Handle all mailing, billing, and payments
• Build a healthy relationship with all employees
• Maintain website, website account, domain name, and domain account
• Maintain email addresses
• Maintain all social media accounts

• Start immediately
•6 Month internship, hired after 6 months upon fulfillment of requirements
