Our interns have entered full-time positions in many top-tier microfinance organizations. Details on past interns may be seen at http://www.microcapital.org/microfinance-internships. Complimentary admission for interns to certain industry events can be arranged. Other benefits to interns include hands-on microfinance industry experience, direct interaction with senior management and the opportunity to make a visible contribution to an organization that is making a difference. Academic credit may be arranged according to the guidelines of students' institutions, although past interns have included both students and mid-career professionals.
The minimum time commitment is 20 hours per week for a minimum of 15 weeks. The daily schedule is flexible.
