Progressive Arts Alliance provides an exciting opportunity to expand your portfolio, gain experience editing, shooting, and use your creativity to help document and showcase dynamic arts programs and student performances. Video Production and Editing Interns shoot footage of our workshops and student performances. The position also allows interns to edit video of performances, promotional videos, compilations and more. Responsibilities also include creating finished DVDs with menus and animated title screens as needed.This position also includes work as Studio Assistant to our Artist-Educators for our in-school and after-school video and animation programs. This internship provides a great opportunity to experience working directly with film and video artists in the classroom.
Length of commitment: 1 semester. Positions are available in the fall, spring, and summer. Anywhere between 5-30 flexible hours per week depending on intern's availability.
Qualifications: Must be Macintosh proficient, have video editing experience using iMovie and Final Cut, and have experience shooting video.
