Volunteer Position -Community Advocate

Position Summary and How to Apply:
The Community Advocate will work closely with the Executive Director, Associate Executive Director, and the GDS Team on marketing, fundraising and Grant Writing. The person must be passionate and enthusiastic about working with the community.
The Community Advocate works to:
- Assist in writing grants and applying for additional funds
- Coordinate events and mailings for current and prospective donors
- Secure funding from major donors, foundations and the public sector
- Oversee design and marketing of promotional materials.
