Description:
USF seeks an intern for its Social Media team interested in learning the various aspects and activities of the USF's Social Media presence.
The internship will provide an opportunity to
- Learn best practices and strategies on the use of social media platforms
- Develop strategies for major fundraising/awareness campaigns
The work schedule is flexible, but the successful candidate should expect to commit at least 14 hours per week for the internship.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in monitoring and building some of our smaller networks, including Tumblr and Pinterest
- Review community Facebook and Twitter feeds for relevant conversations
- Collaborate with the team to craft/schedule posts for our @UNICEFUSANews Twitter account
- Assist the team in the social presence on the Action Center message boards.
- Perform other assignments as needed
Requirements:
- Must be a current student enrolled in a College or University degree program
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Previous exposure to Social Media platforms a plus
- Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is preferred

Days per week: 2 – 3 days a week (Flexible)
