The 10x10 Distribution Outreach Intern will work closely with the Director of NGO Partnerships to help identify key influencers and organizations to help further the goals of our global media campaign and domestic distribution of the feature film, Girl Rising. This position offers the opportunity to gain great insight into all aspects of 10x10 and gain experience managing campaign outreach and learning about global grassroots distribution strategies. You will work in a fast pace, positive environment with creative people.
Responsibilities:
- Identify key like-minded organizations willing to set up screenings
- Outreach to diaspora communities in the US and abroad for screening opportunities
- Indentify grassroots organizations in 10x10 countries who are aligned with 10x10 strategic objectives
- Indentify key NGO's focused on girls education that have the biggest global or regional reach
- Identify key media outlets in countries where 10x10 operates
-Facilitate incoming and outgoing communications by interested organizations in screening Girl Rising
- Field requests to the Director of NGO Partnerships to the appropriate members of the 10x10 team
Ideal Characteristics:
(Candidates do not need to have all of the ideal characteristics.)
- An interest in girls/women development work, film, social campaigns and/or film distribution
- Experience with Salesforce and/or database management
- Timeliness and organization
- Detail oriented
- Reliable work ethic
- Positive team player, honest, open, and a sense of humor
- 3 days a week
- College credit is available
