The Discounts 4 Disabled is an early stage volunteer organization seeking research interns to help create a world changing organization. This is a 3 month to one year commitment of 5-10 hours per week, helping build a dynamic non-profit organization from the ground up.
Discounts 4 Disabled (D4D) works with businesses and service providers to arrange discounts for disabled individuals similar to those offered to students and senior citizens. Discounts 4 Disabled seeks to create partnerships and networks that help secure discounted rates, improve access to services, and make life a little easier for those living with disabilities.
We are currently building management workgroups to develop the infrastructure for this project and building national and international management networks of graduate and undergraduate students to develop, direct and manage the program. We are seeking individuals with strong leadership qualities who would like to prove themselves as entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders and take ownership of these projects.
We are currently recruiting for the following opening:
-Research intern - assist Program Directors/Managers with strategic research tasks on that will be invaluable to scoping and creating the program. (Ideal for undergraduates looking to gain experience.)
