Hostelling International USA, San Diego Council (HI-San Diego) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting global awareness through travel. We host thousands of travelers each year at two hostel locations in San Diego, and introduce responsible travel to the San Diego community through educational outreach programs.
The San Diego Council is looking for an intern to work with our finance department to analyze and document our accounting procedures into QuickBooks. The intern will assist the Finance Coordinator in staying current with all accounts and will help in managing volunteers doing filing and additional data entry.
Reports to: Finance Coordinator
Hours: 10-15 hours per week, scheduling is flexible
Skills Needed:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills
- Well-organized, reliable and self-motivated
