We're looking for a communications major interested in nonprofit experience
What We Do
The Alliance for Children's Rights provides free legal services and advocacy to protect the rights of impoverished and abused children and foster youth so that they have safe, stable homes, health care and the education they need to thrive.
Who We Are
The Alliance staff includes lawyers, social workers, medical health specialists, paralegals and advocates. We are experts in our field who are dedicated to helping children in the Los Angeles County foster care system. The Communications Department manages the organization's external voice and raises awareness of our programs through strategic marketing and public relations.
Who We're Looking For
The Alliance is looking for an experienced undergraduate or graduate communications major and/or student interested in nonprofit marketing, public relations or multi media/graphic design. Our intern will:
Qualifications
The intern will work one-on-one with the Communications Director. The Communications Department is a one-staff operation, thus the intern will participate in a wide range of projects!
