Volunteer Interpreter/Translator Position

Description

Shelter From The Storm Legal Aid Clinic provides domestic violence victims legal assistance for restraining orders, family law matters, and immigration relief.

Activities

The volunteer will work under the supervision of an attorney to assist with interpreting between Spanish and English for in-person meetings and phone calls with clients. Volunteer will translate documents from English into Spanish.

Qualifications

Ability to read and write in English and Spanish. Fluency in spoken English and Spanish. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
