About the National Committee on American Foreign Policy:
The National Committee on American Foreign Policy (NCAFP) is an action-oriented, foreign policy think tank, internationally recognized for its achievements in advancing America's strategic interests. In 1974, Hans J. Morgenthau, Dr. George D. Schwab and others, spearheaded the foundation of the NCAFP, created to advance the resolution of conflicts that threaten U.S. interests.
The NCAFP has greatly expanded the scope of its projects and mission to include such ground-breaking developments as facilitating the ceasefire in Northern Ireland and establishing the Forum on Asia-Pacific Security. Within the framework of political realism, the organization holds Track II negotiations—off-the-record, closed-door discussions wherein policymakers can speak candidly. These discussions seek to identify and allay the gravest challenges to U.S. and global security.
