You're more than capable of providing information concisely and effectively. You enjoy writing and are comfortable speaking in small or large groups.

You don't assume. Instead, you learn a system inside and out so you can make the most of your experience. You're not afraid to say you don't know. You see critique as a good thing and hope to learn from it.
You have the basics down pat.
You've worked with Microsoft Word, Excel and basic online tools to manage data and contact info. You're a master at using and sorting data so it's easy for anyone to use.
You're independent and self-motivated.
You can handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision. You relish the chance to own your projects. You're confident and capable of representing charity: water to our most passionate supporters.
The start date for this position is Aug 14, 2012. Applicants will be available for at least four months and located in New York City for that time. The position requires 3 days per week in the charity: water office, Wednesdays are required and the rare but occasional weekend. The position requires availability to work Dec 7-10 to assist with charity: ball.
This is an unpaid internship - but is an exceptional opportunity to gain experience at an international non-profit with an ambitious mission. We will gladly work with your institution to give you academic credit for your experience.
