The Newark Workforce Investment Board (NWIB) is currently seeking a Social Media intern to assist the Associate Director in creating a clearly defined social media strategy and in managing our online media presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms. This position is responsible for implementing social media strategies designed to engage and inform NWIB shareholders and stakeholders, and to strengthen relationships with current and prospective supporters. The Social Media intern will also contribute to content creation for the NWIB's website, quarterly e-newsletter, and other projects as assigned.
Skills and Experience
Duration of internship: Minimum 3 month commitment
Weekly commitment: 15-20 hours per week
Intern must be able to work in our Newark, NJ office.
This position is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
This position is unpaid. University credits may be obtained as per university guidelines.
