Specific Tasks:
- Monitor productivity and satisfaction of active agency volunteers
- Represent the Iskashitaa at community events and assist in providing information about volunteering
- Assist in the recruitment, screening, and placement of volunteer applicants
- Develop and implement management strategies to efficiently track applicants through the onboarding process
- Track key data points which reveal program health and success
- Participate in the planning and implementation of relevant outreach events
- Complete other duties as assigned by staff
Time Required: 6-9 hours per week. Equivalent of 2 or 3 credit course hours.
Qualifications: 4 year degree or 2 year associate's degree or the equivalency in experience

Skills/Education:
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong oral communication and writing skills
- Interest and/or experience in food justice, sustainability and refugee resettlement
- Pursuing a degree in Administration or demonstrating relevant Human Resources experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding client/donor information
- Strong problem solving, writing, and communication skills; organized and attentive to detail
- Strong intercultural communication skills; demonstrated ability to work effectively with people from other cultural backgrounds is a plus
Experience: Minimum of two year previous nonprofit or volunteer work or the equivalent
Training Required: On-site Iskashitaa training, Refugee 101 and internship application.
