INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES with NETIYA
Become an intern to help Netiya organize campaigns to plant, procure, and distribute food locally. (netiya.org)
Each intern position works closely with the Executive Director and requires a minimum 10-hour weekly commitment for three months and should receive school credit for this internship. Interns should have a strong interest in the food movement, and a background in social justice activism or community organizing, as well as great follow through with their swings.
NETIYA is a Jewish network with interfaith partners that advances urban agriculture in LA. NETIYA cultivates gardens to tithe nutritious food; teaches; and organizes community to seed a more just and resilient food system. NETIYA forges alliances that merge purchasing power to source food together.
Please fill out this application and send a resume and writing sample detailing a clear and positive way in which you would inform audiences about 1) nutrition, 2) anti-hunger organizing, or 3) the hazards of the convention food system to: info@netiya.org.
