Project Have Hope is a small and growing non-profit dedicated to improving the lives and living conditions of the families in the Acholi Quarter of Uganda through educational and economic empowerment. Internships offer students an opportunity to gain exposure to a dynamic, growing international non-profit.
This internship is ideal for a student who is interested in tracking fashion trends and colors and in creating jewelry designs. Intern is responsible for reporting on accessories and color trends for each season to assist us in creation of designs. Intern will also study our current designs and use her/his creativity and skills to create new accessories (both jewelry and textile fashions). These samples will be given to our Ugandan artisans to help in the generation of new, trend-focused accessories.
Details: • Positions available for summer, academic semesters or academic year • 5-30 Hours per week; work mainly from home • Unpaid positions only

Interns can expect to meet at regular intervals with the founder for direction and guidance as needed. Work hours are flexible and a car is not required.
This internship is ideal for students who want to learn all aspects of how to expand a small organization committed to economic development on a grass-roots level. Upon completion of internship, students may include completed projects in a career portfolio.
