
SPUR is one of North America's preeminent urban planning and public policy organizations. Through research, advocacy and public education, SPUR promotes good planning and good government. SPUR is a member-supported nonprofit organization. The SPUR Urban Center houses over 150 forums and symposiums each year.
SPUR is seeking a Public Programming Intern to work closely with the Public Programming Manager in overseeing SPUR's forums, walking tours and exhibitions. This position will require a flexible candidate comfortable in performing a multitude of tasks. This intern will be expected to engage with SPUR board members, policy staff, and guest lecturers. Internships at SPUR are unpaid and a small travel stipend is provided. All interns will enjoy SPUR membership benefits, including free admission to all forums and tours, and a one-year subscription to SPUR's monthly publication, the Urbanist.
