Internship description

The Ovarian & Gynecological Cancer Coalition (OGCC)/ Rhonda's Club is looking for a dedicated student intern, who is passionate about women's health issues. An internship with OGCC can be valuable to any student who is looking for experience in the field of women's health and communications.

Duties include:
Researching current events in the field of Ovarian and Gynecologic Cancers regularly
Updating social media networks regularly (ie. daily, weekly, or as needed)
Employing effective strategies for boosting membership on social networks
Assisting the administrative assistant and board members with preparing mass mailings and materials for health fairs.

Experience needed:
Course work in women's studies or public health
Experience conducting research projects utilizing various online tools and databases
Experience utilizing social media networks for marketing and public relations
At least 1 year of experience in a professional environment.
