About the Communications Department: Communications is a vital ingredient in NESRI's work with our partners and allies to build a broad social movement for economic and social rights. As a small organization we need qualified interns to help us in all diverse facets of our work.
Note: This internship can be based in either New York, NY orPhiladelphia, PA.
Internship responsibilities will include: Video editing and video documentation. Assisting with various documentary and campaign video projects to be used in advocacy, education and organizing. Viral video distribution via various social media platforms. Internship may also include establishing a multi-media database and storage system. Work with audio editing and graphic design also a possibility. Responsibilities will be modified to suit the interests and skills of the intern.
Benefits: The intern will get hands-on experience with communications strategies in the non-profit sector and their importance in building and supporting the human rights movement. This is a great opportunity to put multi-media skills to use in furthering the fight for economic and social rights.
