The Borgen Project believes that leaders of the most powerful nation on earth should be doing more to address global poverty. We're the innovative, national campaign that is working to make poverty a focus of U.S. foreign policy. You will play a crucial role in efforts to improve living conditions for those surviving on less than $1 a day.

Position: Political Intern

About the Internship:

  • Recruit political volunteers in targeted U.S. congressional districts and post volunteer openings to key groups and sites (80% of internship).
  • Take on various tasks as needed.
  • Assist with fundraising (1-2 days).
  • Represent The Borgen Project at various events.

Details: 260 hours required. Hours can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis. Minimum of 4-days per week. Must be available Monday's 4:30-6:00PM for The Borgen Project's national conference call.
