TIME'S UP! is a 25-year-old non-profit grassroots environmental group located in New York City. Time's Up! organizes hundreds of educational workshops, events, and campaigns to promote environmental sustainability.
The space manager will oversee the spaces, help organize volunteer scheduling, assist with workshops, and help with some light computer work. Please note that all Time's Up! workshops and events happen in the afternoon to evening hours. This opportunity involves working at several different locations in lower Manhattan (LES and East Village) and in Brooklyn (Williamsburg).
Applicants must be comfortable in group settings, have good organizing skills, and be super friendly. Mechanical experience is preferred but not required.
Commitment is approximately 10-25 hours per week.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn how a grassroots organization can effect substantial change.
