Net Impact is looking for bright, enthusiastic undergraduate students looking to gain great skills and lead change on campus and in their community as a Campus Director for the Small Steps, Big Wins Campus Challenge.

Net Impact is a community of more than 30,000 changemakers using our careers to tackle the world's toughest problems. We provide support, connections, and practical advice to help people in all sectors and job functions create a more just and sustainable future.

Net Impact's new Small Steps, Big Wins Campus Challenge will spark undergrad students to compete in taking a number of small steps, like riding bikes or watching a video about an important social issue, that add up to making a big impact.

Why you should be a Campus Director…

As a Campus Director, you'll get significant personalized support from experienced Net Impact staff, hands-on experience and access to a dedicated network of professionals, which will give you:

  • Significant organizing, management, and communication skills critical to competitive internships and jobs
  • Learn a lot about corporate responsiblity/sustainable business, nonprofit management, and social entrepreneurship

What you'll do as the Campus Director…

The Campus Director will be responsible for leading students at their schools to partake in fun, low-commitment actions centered on environmental issues and social justice. S/he will choose from the 10-15 proposed actions Net Impact will offer every few weeks to focus on building a growing movement of interested participants at their school.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Create a leadership team to help delegate responsibilities
  • Liaise with Net Impact
  • Track actions on Facebook and/or our website
  • Make a difference
  • Manage strategy for selection of actions to be chosen for your campus

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated analysis and research skills
  • Facebook and other web experience a plus
  • High standards for excellence
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Flexibility and a sense of humor
  • Enthusiastic commitment to Net Impact's mission

Hours: 10-20 hours per month

Duration: By semester

Location: Your college or university!
