Internship description

About the Internship

Fundraising is a critical function for every non-profit and this internship is a great way to gain experience in the field. This is an opportunity to learn the infrastructure of fundraising with the new paradigm at the organization founded by the author of "The Soul of Money". Applicants accepted to these positions will learn the basics and mechanics of fundraising "from the heart" within our Development Team.

Our preference is for the interns to commit to work for 15-20 hours a week for 3-5 months. We can be flexible with both the number of hours and the length of stay but we have some ambitious goals and would like to create projects to hand off to the interns over a period of time. Course credit can also be obtained through this internship. The work would take place during regular business hours here in our Presidio office. And please note that this internship is not limited to students! In these internships, the Interns will learn the theory of how non-profits raise money and see firsthand how it is done at The Pachamama Alliance.
