Move For Hunger is looking for an Events/Marketing Intern
Move For Hunger is looking for a creative, motivated, enthusiastic candidate to help us coordinate events locally and throughout the country. Move For Hunger creates events that are "more than the average food drive." Events are focused on engaging communities to join us in our hunger fight while creating a memorable experience for those who participate.
Position Summary: Intern will provide administrative support for the Program and Events Department and assist in execution of marketing and advertising programs/events. Position includes assisting in conducting initial outreach to prospective program and event partners for Move For Hunger and/or special exhibitions, planning and fulfilling marketing-related events, copying and collating marketing materials, preparing bulk mailings, and assisting in external distribution of materials to the community.
Our interns take ownership of the events they create, and their work directly impacts struggling families across the nation.
Qualifications:
- Interpersonal skills are a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Documents
- Extremely organized
- Creativity and enthusiasm preferred!
Although this internship is unpaid, we hope to provide you with a valuable, real-world experience. We also have some awesome travel and weekend volunteering opportunities!
