Job Description: Assists with website, newsletter and social media updates. Work can be done from anywhere with Internet access and the time commitment is flexible. 1099 and interns make their own hours but are responsible for meeting weekly goals and will probably average 5-7 hours a week.
Requirements: Must have a Bachelor or Associates Degree unless acquired as intern to obtain college credit. Must be able to operate a computer, Word, Windows 7, Excel, Publisher or Adobe Acrobat are a plus. Must have knowledge of Wordpress and Vertical Response or an equivalent content management application. Experience with online research and online writing is a plus but not a requirement. Own computer or laptop is required for intern or 1099 worker; laptop is preferred for purposes of collaboration & flexibility. Spanish speaking is a plus. Must be flexible, passionate, responsible, and work well in a team/collaborative setting. Must have good communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills. Must have a valid California driver's license and insurance; if contracted, own business license or insurance is a plus; be able to lift at least 20lbs. Experience: Experience working in a non-profit, small business, or sales/management position is a plus.
