Do you want to sink your teeth into a challenging and experimental program to engage college students in making a positive impact? Are you interested in working directly with college students to enable them to make big changes? Are you interested in learning about key elements of program planning like data analysis, project management, marketing and outreach? Also want to work with a dynamic technology platform including an interactive website and mobile app?
Today's global problems seem massive and hard to tackle – it's easy for young people to get overwhelmed and turn away. Net Impact will soon launch our second year of the Small Steps, Big Wins Campus Challenge, an international competition that will inspire students to "take the first step" in making a difference by offering a fun competition in which students take small to medium sized actions that collectively have big social and environmental impact.
What you'll do and learn as the Small Steps Fellow
Net Impact fellows don't fetch coffee - they're an integrated member of the team. As a fellow, you'll gain hands-on work experience developing critical business, program management and communication skills you can't learn in school. You'll also build a network of professional contacts in a range of sectors and industries and could even launch a career in socially responsible and sustainable business, nonprofit management, or social entrepreneurship.
