Elders Share the Arts is a pioneering award-winning community arts organization. ESTA's mission is to empower older adults to find imaginative ways to express and share their life experiences through the arts. Our teaching artists work directly with a culturally diverse group of well and frail elders in community centers, libraries, senior centers, nursing homes, and hospitals. ESTA classes nurture elders' creativity while giving them opportunities for active, social engagement in building community.
Overview: ESTA is seeking Website Development Intern(s) to support the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to learn more about what goes on "behind the scenes" of a community-based arts organization. If you looking at understanding how to help build a robust development department then this may be an interesting post for you!
Type of Position: Intern/Volunteer (unpaid) at least college age Minimum Time Commitment: 3 hrs/week flexible * for a minimum of 3 months
Fill date: Immediately
Duties: Basic maintenance and updating of ESTA's website.
Qualifications:
MUST ENJOY WORKING WITH PEOPLE! Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently, with guidance from staff members. Curious. Excellent verbal and written communication. Is familiar with HTML coding.
