You can either Volunteer or seek Internship credit. Interns must fulfill the following requirements:

GCP Internship Requirements:

1) Complete a 20 hour probation period. We ask that Internship applicants complete 20 hours of actual work on the project (not including training hours). At that point we can reassess if the project is a fit for you and if you are following through on your commitments.

2) Document 5-10 (average 7.5 hours) hours per week of work on the project for a period of 3 months. Total hours worked must average 7.5 hours per week for the course of the Internship. This should be recorded on a weekly timesheet and submitted to your supervisor.

3) Complete and submit a weekly Productivity Planner outlining the coming week's work.

4) Respond to all communications within 48 hours, and/or report every 72 hours to your supervisor on the status of your assignment.

5) Participate in one GCP conference call each week.

6) Regularly review and "Like" all items posted to the Facebook management Group and Page relating to your project.

7) Complete all assignments and respond to all communications in a professional and timely manner. Post regular updates regarding what you are working on the FB group.

8) Give a minimum of two weeks notice of your departure from the project and work to train your replacement if possible. We request, in order to respect the time and resources invested on your behalf by GCP, if you find paid employment during your internship and decide to leave the project that you fulfill three (3) hours per week of volunteer time for the remainder of your internship commitment.
