Ashoka is looking for an intern to assist in outreach and coordination across all teams and country offices to learn about and document operations and business processes, gather best practices to spread across the organization, and create and disseminate targeted training materials for staff input. While all internship positions are unpaid, each is an excellent opportunity to be an integral part of a team transforming mission critical operations within an entrepreneurial organization.
This position in particular is uniquely situated in Ashoka's integrated technology team and interacts with staff across all Ashoka programs and country offices.
Ashoka encourages flexibility and creativity in internship positions and the opportunity to design your own internship experience building on specific team needs. Therefore specific responsibilities may include some or all of the following, in addition to optional projects of your choosing:
- Assist in developing a curriculum of targeted training materials for both new and experienced users
- Develop surveys to assess training needs
- Working with users to document specific use cases
- Develop training materials utilizing audio, video, and screen capture
- Develop training curricula and program
- Organize existing resources and cull out-of-date materials
Some qualifications we value for this specific position include:
- Experience with distance education and distance learning technologies
- Experience with curriculum development
- Familiarity with knowledge management concepts
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts in general, and Salesforce in particular
