Internship description

The Navigators USA, an alternative scouting organization, is looking for a student or volunteer in the New York area to help compile information and conduct research for grants. The intern will assist a seasoned grant writer with researching foundations (corporate, family, and community) to find suitable opportunities to match with projects, applying for specific grants, gathering data, and completing reports for previously awarded grants. The intern will learn how to effectively communicate cause, need, and results to secure funding to increase programming.
