Webmaster / Public Relations Intern (Remote), Wild Horse & Burro Advocacy

Description

Responsibilities:

As the Webmaster Public Relations Intern, you will interact with the marketing, public relations and advocacy volunteers as well as a wildlife ecologist. Primary responsibility will be to make further enhancements to our new web site and to assist in maintaining the site. Additional activities will include helping to facilitate communications with people who are interacting with the site and assisting staff members in monitoring the site.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Wordpress. An ability to work effectively in a team environment and on your own.

A passion for the wild horses and burros and for this issue.

Additional Skills:

Will work with an existing intern who will be conducting social media campaigns.

Location:

We will interact primarily by phone, email and via Skype, so there is no need to travel or to relocate for this position.

Hours:

Up to 30 hours per week.

Length of Internship:

Possibility of extending for another semester if interested.
