Description:
For the 2013 season only we are looking to take on a Videography Intern with the existing skills and resources to make a short outreach and advertising video outlining the services, classes, and equipment available at the boating center. This is an unpaid internship, and a great opportunity for someone interested in expanding their portfolio and gaining free advertising through the video's distribution. The videography intern will have no-cost access to some of the Community Boating Center's classes and rental equipment (kayaks, sailboats/dinghies, stand-up paddleboards). As this is a new internship opportunity, the specific details of the internship and project are still up for discussion. We hope to see a finished video in late-Fall or Winter of 2013.

Internship Benefits:
Aside from work experience, interning at the Community Boating Center provides opportunities to get out on the water, make connections in the community, and learn about non-profit management, sailing, kayaking, and experiential education. Academic credit may be arranged for clearly-defined internships.
Please Note:
Volunteers and interns are crucial to the function of the CBC, and we are happy to work with you to arrange an internship that is beneficial for all. As this is a project-oriented internship the start and end dates are flexible, as are the hours per week.
