PR/Marketing Internship with LeAp
LeAp, Learning through an Expanded Arts Program, is seeking a bright, self-motivated, and enthusiastic college student (or recent college graduate) to work in the office of a busy non-profit arts education organization. This is an unpaid position but is a great opportunity for an individual with an interest in non-profit management, education, PR/Marketing, or arts management to gain hands-on experience in a small office setting. Ideally, the chosen candidate will be able to start immediately.
This individual should be organized, detail-oriented, creative, and must possess strong writing, verbal, and computer skills. The intern will help the Deputy Director with PR/Marketing, which includes, but is not limited to: writing press releases, pitching stories to the press, hosting press at LeAp events, and using social media to promote the brand.
Hours:
The hours for this position are flexible. LeAp's office is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM – 5 PM, and the intern will set a schedule with his or her supervisor at LeAp. We are looking for someone to intern 15-30 hours a week over 3 to 4 days.
