The Government Technology Research Alliance (GTRA) Seeks A Highly Ambitious, Hungry, Well-Organized, Self-Motivated, Technology & IT Research Assistant & Writer

GTRA's (Government Technology Research Alliance) mission is to increase collaboration between government, industry and academic IT leaders as well as educate the public and private sectors on cutting edge technologies, solutions, and industry best practices. Our goal is to revolutionize the way government and Industry collaborate and ultimately help improve the way our government uses resources and delivers services to its citizens. GTRA's headquarters are based in the heart of Washington D.C., with a research and sales office in Chicago, IL and an operations office in Salt Lake City, UT.

GTRA is seeking a highly talented, charismatic, self-motivated professional to work directly with our executive-level clients from the public & private sector to establish relationships, conduct research, analyze findings, and produce various types of multi-media research reports such as blogs, white papers, research briefs, podcasts and video interviews. In addition, the person in this role will be instrumental in driving government participation to various GTRA-run activities including meetings and events (both speakers and delegates), online blogs & forums, and networking functions.

Job Duties Include:

  • Coordinate details of speaker and delegate engagements
  • Provide updated lists of prospects and confirmed participants (speakers and delegates)
  • Schedule phone and in-person meetings/research interviews with government or healthcare IT executives
  • Provide excellent customer service to event participants/stakeholders
  • Update database consistently and accurately
  • Write emails and general communications to event participants/stakeholders
  • Edit event communications and collateral
  • Working with & providing support to Research & Engagement team
  • Working on-site at Council Meetings with government clients
  • Administrative Support as requested

Qualifications, Requirements & Skills:

  • Superior attention to detail
  • Consistent ability to follow through with projects
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to manage many tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills required
  • Experience in writing (reports, blogs, articles, briefs, white papers, etc…)
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment
  • Exceptional customer service abilities, oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, assertive, positive attitude, assertive, strong work ethic
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work both independently and under direction

Education:

High School Diploma required

Minimum 2-year College Degree in related field
