Position Description
Organizational Background
The Foundation for International Understanding Through Students (FIUTS) is the Puget Sound region's leading organization promoting engagement between international students and members of our community. Founded in 1948, FIUTS builds bonds of friendship that extend beyond borders and stereotypes and inspire a new generation of leaders.
The English Language Program Classroom Assistant will support teachers in morning classes with two groups of high school students from China. Classes will be held on the University of Washington campus. The Classroom Assistant is also welcome to join the group on several of their afternoon activities throughout Seattle.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
The internship is 5-10 hours per week from July 12th through July 25th. English classes are weekdays from 9am to 12pm. The ideal candidate would commit to an hour of each morning's class, or the entirety of one class day once or twice a week. The scheduling can be flexible. Internship is unpaid.
