Description

Internship Opportunities at ARK

Our internships, which are unpaid, can range from 6 to 10 weeks of commitment period. ARK internships are very focused and aimed at providing interns with a tangible experience and a completed project at the end of the commitment period. Interns will be expected to "hit the ground running", and work side by side with ARK officers on on-going and live projects. Interns will have opportunities to hone and gain leadership, analytical, communication, marketing, business and finance skills and to collaborate with professionals from diverse fields in the ARK network. A successful internship with ARK could lead to potential mentorship and paid opportunities within the ARK network.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and launch marketing campaigns targeting different audience groups with measurable results in network growth, engagement, and revenue;
  • Mange, organize and monitor social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others);
  • Identify ways and means for ARK to enhance its visibility and connection with existing and future donors/investors/partners;
  • Work with web developer and designer to create website content that is clear, attractive, connective, transportive, fun, witty and sexy.

Intern will be asked to generate ideas and take ownership of the implementation plan. This position will give the intern the opportunity to showcase and translate his/her creative thinking into a commercial initiative to support ARK. This position will provide opportunities to hone and gain leadership, marketing, branding and communication skills, and to expand his/her design portfolio, all of which could lead to other for-profit and paid job opportunities.
