Global Leadership Program: 2017 Summer Fellowship

  • Bluefields, Región Autónoma Atlántico Sur, Nicaragua

Interested in our Global Leadership Program? Take the first step: http://blueenergygroup.org/#GLP

The blueEnergy Summer Fellowship Program takes place over 8 weeks (4-week condensed program option available) over the summer months in Bluefields, Nicaragua and has been developed specifically to provide a once-in-a-lifetime transformative and impactful experience. It is a unique opportunity to apply classroom and theoretical work knowledge to real-world situations, driving personal and professional growth while creating local impact. Summer Fellows work on hands-on projects alongside a diverse team of program participants, local staff, and Nicaraguan community beneficiaries.

Summer Fellows must be 18 years of age and have an interest in the intersection of technology and social change. A strong sense of adventure, ability to adapt to change and uncertainty, and desire to work in diverse teams to solve complex problems help Fellows get the most out of the experience.

Highlights

1. Improve personal, professional and leadership skills

2. Participate in sustainable development projects and gain a deeper understanding of the complex challenges of implementing technology for social good

3. Discover the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua and improve your Spanish
