Friendship Circle is looking for a Photographer to document Friendship Circle's Programs and events and help with our social media sites.
Be a part of a creative staff that pulls off big public events and programs for children with special needs.
Responsibilities Include:
Photography
- Taking photos at programs and special events
- Maintaining and keeping photos organized
- Creating special photo presentations and collages
- Organizing and taking photoshoots
Friendship Circle has developed a fast growing social media presence with over 20,000 fans on Facebook and 3,600 Fans on Twitter, and a blog that has 30,000 monthly viewrs. Your help will be needed with
Blog Management Help manage and develop an active blog
- Formatting of blog posts
- Writing and editing of blog posts
- Research for future blog posts
Social Media: Help manage Facebook and Twitter Pages.
Requirements:
- Great Photography Skills
- Organized individual who will be able to manage and organize thousands of photo files
- Good Writing skills
- Good Graphic Design Skills
- A good understanding of Twitter & Facebook
- Be willing to perform other online and offline tasks when needed
- Be able to take direction
It would be helpful to have: 1. An understanding of individuals with special needs 2..A special education background 3. Knowledge of Wordpress
