Internship description

Changing Children's Worlds Foundation is currently working on a number of projects, and if you feel passionately that you would be a good fit to assist with a single project, this is the right internship for you.

Current Projects:

International Child Development Program- USA - working on this project could take many forms. This is an empathy based caregiver training program that we wish to see spread to many new areas.

  • There are projects in West Pullman, a church in the Chicago area,
  • at Changing Children's Worlds itself and
  • Tri-City Family Services.
  • Work is being done to create and develop materials,
  • as well as discover new funding sources and
  • potential areas of growth (such as local churches, schools and social service agencies.)

Choosing a specific area of the International Child Development Program (ICDP) and focusing on helping us grow and improve could be a great way to spend your internship. Learn more about ICDP-USA on our website at http://www.changingchildrensworlds.org.

Requirements:

-High School graduate

-Ideas about what aspect of ICDP you would like to expand

- Self-motivated and directed

-Able to dedicate at least 120 hours to your project

-Good writing and communication skills
