TITLE OF POSITION: Communications Intern (unpaid)
SUPERVISED BY: Communications Director
PURPOSE OF JOB: To assist with a variety of communications and marketing activities for DSF including social media, collateral development and event promotion. This volunteer will increase the effectiveness of our communications to students and the community to help us accomplish both our program and fundraising goals.
DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
COMMITMENT REQUIRED: 8+ hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS:
ORIENTATION AND TRAINING PROVIDED: Volunteer Orientations are held monthly and are required as an overview and first step for DSF Volunteers and Interns. Orientation pertaining to communications and IT and additional training to include using website updates and background information on past and present communications activities will be provided.
LOCATION OF JOB: DSF Office located at 303 E. 17th Avenue, Denver, CO 80203.
