The Guild for Human Services is a non-profit human services agency for youth ages 6-22 with a range of disorders including developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, behavioral disorders and mental health issues. The Guild utilizes a multidisciplinary approach including counseling/therapy services, applied behavior analysis, psychopharmacology, speech and language services, occupational therapy, vocational services and community-based recreation opportunities.
As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Social Worker/Student Services Coordinator reports to a Student Services Supervisor, and is responsible for case management and planning and coordinating supportive services to clients and families.
An ideal candidate must have strong clinical skills with emphasis on clinical writing; will be flexible with strong interpersonal skills, be able to effectively work with a multidisciplinary team Must be able to implement crisis intervention techniques as necessary; must have excellent organization and time management skills; and will be able to implement crisis intervention techniques as necessary.
We are looking for someone who has experience working with clients with developmental disabilities. MSW or Masters in Mental Health required. LICSW or license-eligible preferred.
